Wednesday Workout

Are you ready for another Wednesday Workout?

But, first how are you doing this week? Are you taking work breaks?

This week, my workouts fell by the wayside. Between a bout with viral bronchitis, graduation parties, Father’s Day, and the end of the school year stuff, any uninterrupted minute was spent vegged out in front of the television. Not my best week. But, I'm ready to jump back into my routine today.. :)

However, in between my soap opera viewing (Anyone an All My Children fan?), I did stumble across, attempt, and enjoy this arm workout below… Check it out.

Don’t forget to stretch when you’re finished.

So, what did you think?? Did you try it out?

Happy Wednesday!

Best wishes getting back on your workout schedule, Keri. I've done a good job of upping my walking a few times this past week, but the heat is making it hard to motivate to do stuff more strenuous. So, I'm going to vow here to go to the gym at least 3 times in the upcoming week.

Okay... That comment is interesting. :)

Thanks, Michelle! Yay! Keep walking! It is HOT here too. Does your gym have a pool? :) Happy Wednesday!

My gym does not have a pool, but my condo building does. I've thought about swimming and really enjoy it. Unfortunately, either the chlorine or the sun freaks out my skin tons so it's not that great of an option.

Michelle, it's been unholy hot here too with heat indexes above 100 for several days. So all I've done outside is mow a couple of times during the "cooler" parts of the day. I'd planned to go to the Y again today for day 2 of this week's weight training (did a day of that on Monday), but I've been at the computer so much the past week and a half that my back was in knots and I went to get a massage instead. They're so good for relieving muscle aches and getting the circulation going. My goal in life is to get to the point where I can afford to get a massage once a week. :)

Speaking of pools, I took another step toward my goal of swim lessons today. I actually braved buying a new bathing suit. Got a tank swim top and swim shorts. Next step, arranging for the lessons.

Great move Trish! I'll be starting swim lessons again this week. My coach caught me swimming laps the other night and chastised me about my form. I guess, just like we can always work on our craft when it comes to writing, there's always a way to improve our exercise too! I hope you swim like a fish soon!

And Keri, you'll be happy to know I'm calling in professional help. My first appointment with the personal training is this Friday. Fingers crossed that he doesn't hurt himself laughing at me!

Oh no, Michelle.. Good luck. :)

Hey, Trish! Okay, I'm not complaining about heat anymore.. You definitely are way hotter down in the south. A massage once a week sounds amazing. As writers we need it! :) You go, Trish! Good stuff. :) Let us know when you sign up for swimming lessons. You'll love the lessons and it's a great way to get a full body workout in the summer.

Hey, Rachel! As long as your swimming it counts. :) Yay!! You'll love training. Enjoy your appointment and let me know how it goes. xoxo
